ordering seeds? check this out…
Source: OMRIupdate Newsletter, Winter 2007, vol. 9 issue 1.

The new, completely-online database of organic seeds, their suppliers, and their availability is growing rapidly. As of early December, the system displayed a total 778 varieties of organic seeds from 14 suppliers. OMRI runs the database of certified organic seed varieties as a service to organic growers and certifiers. Inclusion of varieties on this seed list means OMRI has verified their organic certification. Organic farmers are required by the NOP Rule to buy organic seed when it
is commercially available. The web listing can be found at seeds.omri.org.
Seeds of Change, Inc. of Santa Fe, NM, became the latest company to announce the listing of their commercial organic seed product line. Also, joining the list are several other organic seed suppliers, such as Snow Organic Seeds, Johnny’s Selected Seeds, Welter Seed and Honey Company, Blue River Hybrids, Great Harvest Organics, and DLF Organic.
